Well, never is a big word... but when he asks for photographs of organic food - it's definitely a pleasure to say yes!

So - digression - for those who do not know... my PR is also my ex-boyfriend. Yes, funny, I get it - it's everybody's joke. He works on restaurant menus and marketing materials quite often, hence why I occasionally get to photograph food, drinks, produce, restaurants, and such. 

Recently he was preparing a campaign for a local farmers market, and needed some photographs of organic produce, showcasing how organic homegrown produce will be healthier food for your family.

What is it about organic - you walk in the grocery store and find yourself debating whether you really want to pay more for those smaller uglier veggies... Let's be honest, organic veggies do not look as shiny and big and beautiful as the 'others', and are usually more pricey - because of the "USDA Organic" label. Many of us have wondered at some point whether it's worth it or not, and the research out there is of course controversial.

We are not here to start a debate on whether to buy organic or not. We do, and we like to maintain a vegetable garden as well - but that's not why we are here.
