Angel Tree Mission 2013

December 06, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

On Monday, Jamie's Hope hosted the second annual Angel Tree Mission Happy Hour event at the Palms Restaurant in Houston, TX. Jamie's Hope for a cure is a charitable organization founded by Jamie Gilmore to support targeted cell therapy at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and help families and individuals affected by cancer.

Those who follow Earchphoto on social media and here on the Blog will probably remember us volunteering for other events organized by Jamie's Hope, such as the Masquerade Ball and the Golf Tournament.

Jamie's Hope is an organization very dear to us, and we are grateful for the opportunity to volunteer at their events.

Many thanks to Amanda and Jamie who welcomed us into their 'family' of volunteers in 2012 - the Angel Tree Mission event marks the anniversary of our first meeting with this fantastic organization, which we hope to keep serving for many years to come.

With gratitude,

Throwback Thursday

December 05, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

This throwback Thursday is dedicated to the city of Seattle. Seattle has been a late discovery for me, I visited it for the first time in the Summer of 2012, and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere.

Seattle breathes creativity and community outreach, and it is a very welcoming city even with a 'first timer'. Just walking around you can find inspiration and create something innovative. Of course, in my case, this means finding an architectural masterpiece (thank you Frank Gehry) and giving my own interpretation of its structure.

With gratitude,

An evening for a cause.

This past weekend we had the opportunity to volunteer for a local fashion event called The Look Houston 2013, a runway show to benefit the AIDS Foundation Houston. The show was organized by Paris Warren of Xtraordinaire Events, and showcased the collections of ten local fashion designers.

Below are a few previews, and feel free to browse the Look Houston 2013 photogallery for additional images of the show.

Let's work to end AIDS.

With gratitude,
