My friends know how much I love being outdoors. Just walking outside, cycling, all outdoor sports, hunting, shooting... and definitely a relaxing walk in a State park is one of my favorite activities.

Of course, a walk in the park becomes kind of an adventure when your companion for the day is published nature photographer and writer Irene Amiet of Oceandance Photography.

Irene is well known for her photographic books about Africa and the Texas Gulf Coast, and also for her art which is on permanent display at the Affaire D'Art gallery in Galveston, TX.
