HITS Thermal 2014Last weekend we had the honor of joining Savanna Little at HITS Thermal during week VI of HITS Desert Circuit, and to meet handsome stallion Scout, owned by Willow Tree Farms of Woodside, CA. It is always wonderful to be back in California - and I totally loved seeing the 'perfect paint' in action. Ferrari ColorsA work assignment including a Ferrari is always a good day. And when it's several Ferrari's - then it's even better. Yes, of course red has a special appeal to us, but we definitely enjoyed playing with light and reflections with all other colors, and we do have a soft spot for carbon fiber... #endcancerA few weeks ago a friend wrote a nice post on Facebook about the things that cancer cannot do, such as take away hope and friendship. And how all of us friends volunteer for the same organization that supports MD Anderson Cancer Center - working to end cancer now, or simply: #endcancer Saturday night was the Ladies' Classic night at Sam Houston Race Park, the highest paying race of the season, and also an occasion to support the Susan G. Komen foundation for breast cancer. It was nice to see the park crowded with the many spectators wearing pink ribbons in support of breast cancer awareness and fundraising. The race itself was of course a fantastic event, and here are a few quick images from race night. Race your horse and help #endcancer!
