A walk in the parkMy friends know how much I love being outdoors. Just walking outside, cycling, all outdoor sports, hunting, shooting... and definitely a relaxing walk in a State park is one of my favorite activities. Of course, a walk in the park becomes kind of an adventure when your companion for the day is published nature photographer and writer Irene Amiet of Oceandance Photography. Irene is well known for her photographic books about Africa and the Texas Gulf Coast, and also for her art which is on permanent display at the Affaire D'Art gallery in Galveston, TX. HITS Thermal 2014Last weekend we had the honor of joining Savanna Little at HITS Thermal during week VI of HITS Desert Circuit, and to meet handsome stallion Scout, owned by Willow Tree Farms of Woodside, CA. It is always wonderful to be back in California - and I totally loved seeing the 'perfect paint' in action. Ferrari ColorsA work assignment including a Ferrari is always a good day. And when it's several Ferrari's - then it's even better. Yes, of course red has a special appeal to us, but we definitely enjoyed playing with light and reflections with all other colors, and we do have a soft spot for carbon fiber...
