The perfect dateWe all have our own idea of the perfect date. Some dream of a romantic getaway with their prince charming - other of simple country life pleasures. And it's all good. Our idea of the perfect date involves a camera and 4 wheels - aka a camera and the perfect model. We had a lot of fun with a yellow Ferrari, and for as much as we like red (can you tell?), it was as close to a perfect date as it gets. Enjoy some Summer colors! With gratitude -

Life in squaresSomeone came to me today with a laptop and showed me my own Instagram feed. I glanced at it for a moment and thought - it's like looking at life in small squares. Random camera-phone snapshots of anything and everything. What you see, what you feel, what you dream or wish for - in small squares. Looking at it as a combination of random moments - you realize that it does, in fact, depict your life and follow the road where your confused path is somehow taking you. And well, coming from confusing me - no surprise that it really does look totally random. But in chaos - and chaos it is, as chaos always reigns - lie common threads, and recurrent themes. And in the small square world of Instagram and phone-ography - we get a pretty clear glimpse of who we are. Of Water and LifeThe Summer is coming - and we will spend most of our Summer in Houston, TX where a few neighborhoods have already adopted voluntary water restriction. Yes, today's blog post is a bit of a PSA, and we will go back to photography at some point - but water conservation is important in Texas.
